Light browser icons retain the exact source colours. Dark browser icons use the approved white symbol; opaque app tiles use the brand paper or ink. The original favicon.svg is a byte-exact copy of the selected mark. Optical exports only fit the existing paint, with no glyph redraw or colour change. The web manifest is a production-root template: adjust id, start_url and scope when installing under a subpath. No service worker or offline app is included.
